For a computer with Windows NT 4 Server:

  • 486 processor

For a computer running Windows 2000/2003 Server:

  • Pentium class processor
  • 128 MB RAM (256 MB recommended)
  • 80 MB of free hard disk space

For a computer running Windows Server 2008:

  • Minimum 1 GHz (x86 processor) or 1.4 GHz (x64 processor)
  • 512 MB RAM (2 GB recommended)

All editions of Windows server-based operating systems are supported, including Windows NT Terminal Server Edition, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows 2000 Datacenter Server, Windows 2003 Server Web Edition, Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition, Windows 2003 Server Datacenter Edition, Windows Storage Server 2003 and the latest Windows Server 2008 Standard, Windows Server 2008 Enterprise and Windows Server 2008 Datacenter.

The program itself requires about 20 MB of hard disk space, the rest is reserved for the virus recovery database file and its index (VRDB, also known as the "integrity database" from the previous version) and the Virus Chest.
