I was greatly disappointed with Bitdefender Total Security 2009. I shifted from Norton to Bitdefender and saw an immediate slowdown in my 3.4ghz Dell. In addition to the slowdown, Outlook 2007 would lock up any time I sent out an email with an attachment of approx. 2mb or larger. I worked with my ISP provider and then MS with no luck. Finally, MS tech support suggested removing Bitdefender and the problem went away. I reloaded Bitdefender and the problem returned. I contact the Bitdefender chatroom and everytime I sent a message I was told that my party had "left." So I never received support from the chat function. I then called the "954" number and was on hold for approx. 38 minutes and then the phone started ringing . . . I thought I was getting someone who could help . . . but the phone just kept on ringing. I have also sent 4 emails and have yet to resolve the problem. I am going back to Norton.
