The product seems to run slow but OK on the first machine (XP) I put it on. Later, without going back to the advertising, I installed the second (of 3) licenses on a Vista-64 machine. It installed without complaint, but didn't run well. Support is

I've had PC Tools Antivirus (Free Version) installed since March 2008. Virus definitions updated every 2-3 weeks. In that time the software hasn't detected ANYTHING!!! Absolutely NOTHING. Have I been lucky enough to simply avoid any infections? But then ... why is my PC re-booting spontaneously? Why IE keeps freezing? Why do I have to manually remove cookies from all sorts of nasties? Why is my processor working at 100% capacity when I'm not doing anything? In the past I had used Norton AV Corporate Edition. That one intercepted something at least once every other day. Hmmm, nasties must be so scared of PC Tools that they stay well away from my PC, right? Or ... is the software useless?
