I've used Norton for many years, and encouraged my family to as well. However as the software has matured it has also become bloated and a severe resource hog. I no longer recommend it for this reason. There are lightweight free alternatives

They charge you good money and then don't do their MAIN job...keep your PC safe from viruses. When they fail at this task they then let you know they can fix it, but want more money from you. Truly unbelievable. Please don't reward such bad
